The series is the author's semi-autobiographical family story, set in the hills and valleys outside bologna italy, in the region of emilia romagna. it is a work of historical fiction, expertly told how only a master storyteller like giacomino nicolazzo can tell it.

Terra d'Amore chronicles three generations of an italian family, beginning with the difficult and tumultuous immigration of giuseppe costanzo and rosa nicolazzo to america in the early years of the 2oth century. it is the love story that was their life.

their exciting journey begins in italy and ends decades later in a small western pennsylvania town in america.

a century after they leave italy, a grandson, a writer, returns to complete the immigration circle. he meets an italian woman and the two fall hopelessly and helplessly in love. their story spans three decades and sets the plot for all ten books in the series.

after much demand, the author has decided to reformat the entire series and make it available in paperback as well as e-book formats.

Pizza has been a staple of Italian heritage and culture dating back to the 16th century. it has permeated the world, interpreted and served in a variety of ways and enjoyed by nearly everyone. But, there is pizza...

and then there is genuine and authentic Italian pizza.

Here in Italy, we have mandatory ingredients, standard assembly techniques and most of all, required baking methods.

The crust of authentic Italian pizza is one of the most important components of the meal. It is traditionally thin but has a fluffy consistency. Within the crust lies the characteristic flavor and exceptional texture found solely in Italian pizza.

We place a great deal of importance on the amount of lievito fresco (fresh yeast) we use. a carefully weighed blend of three different types of farina (flour) is used to concoct the perfect impasto (dough). We expertly hand-stretch the dough in a process known as impastare (kneading) and then we bake it at extremely high temperatures in a wood-fired oven to achieve that impeccable finished quality.

This book teaches you the time-honored process of making genuine and authentic Italian pizza. We provide more than fifty very specific, very authentic and very delicious regional pizza recipes.
